American Golf Pro and Girlfriend were shot to death in Mexico. The American Golf Pro was found inside his black Jeep with more than 20 shots fired at the jeep by the killer. American authorities investigated the case as they had no idea who killed American Golf Pro and Girlfriend in Mexico or why this fatal shooting happened.
The Golf Pro and His Girlfriend
The lady was recognized as his schoolteacher girlfriend. They were fatally shot in the bright daylight on a Juárez street. Patrick Landers was a 32-year-old American golf pro and also a father; his girlfriend, Karla Baca, was a physical education teacher. The Jeep had New York plates and was fired upon more than 20 times.
The reports by the El Paso Times, Lander and Baca, were in Mexico quarantining during the coronavirus pandemic. The paper reports that the couple was shot shortly after entering the Jeep and leaving a cell phone store.
They belonged to the central New York and their families are mourning the death of the couple. Lander’s friends and family addressed to the media that he was a very good father to Cameron and a very good person to his friends and family. Adam Howe, Lander’s close friend was connected to the media and said he loved his dog and liked to go around with him.
The crime was organized on 20 April, 2020. The accusations are yet to be made as there is no clear motive behind the murder. Both were found sitting in the jeep that had been shot and they were immediately found dead.
Lander and Baca were quarantining in the hotel. Baca had recently taken up a job in town as an elementary school teacher. Lander was involved in real estate development, said the authorities. They both were leaving a cell phone store when the accident occurred. The shooting occurred near Lopez Mateos, one of the city’s main thoroughfares.
The reports said that the lady was severely targeted with many bullets inserted in the passenger’s sit while only 3 bullets were captured from the driver’s sit.
The motive and the criminals are still not confirmed. Baca’s murder was taken under and handled by the Crimes against Women Unit of the Chihuahua State Police. But they soon brought to public that she was not the main plan of the crime.
