A year ago, I quit Lifetime Fitness Frontenac in North Vancouver. I found it to be a place that was as good as any other gym in the area. I am much happier now. The time and energy I lose are a huge benefit to me. I’m much more aware of my physical activities.
A lot of people quit the gym after about five years. I’ve done it twice myself and can say that I’m glad I did. It’s like this: You start out hating fitness and then, as the song goes, you give in to it and you love it. You try it out for a year, and you become more comfortable with it. As I said, that’s pretty much my story.
That’s really cool that you can quit a time loop.
I guess this is what self-awareness is about. To make certain choices you have to be able to say “well, I guess I’m not going to stick with this anymore” or “I’ll take it from here and see where it goes.
It’s true that people who quit Lifetime Fitness Frontenac tend to have less time to blog about it and they tend to have less time to make a video of themselves playing it. It’s also true that the people who quit themselves tend to have more time to blog about it and they tend to make more videos. The idea of a lot of people just want to get as much exercise as possible even when they’ve been doing it for a long time, that’s the problem.
The more time we spend doing something, the less time we have to do it. We tend to be lazy, and lazy people tend to have a lot of time to blog. I started working out after I had my first child, but I stopped after I had my second. My family was always pushing me to get back into exercise, so I decided to quit back in November of 2011. We still talk about it on the phone and send each other pictures of our workouts.
I think it takes a lot of trust and commitment to do what we do, especially since we dont do it in a gym. We do it at home, which makes it easier to maintain all the equipment and have someone to help us. But honestly, I think we do it for many reasons. So many excuses, so many reasons why we can’t do it. I think we are just doing it because we are lazy.
For starters, we’ve had about 10,000 people leave us comments on our Facebook page. We’ve had people come back and tell us that they just don’t want to do squats anymore. Because they feel like they’re just too heavy. The biggest reason we’ve quit is that we are too tired to do it anymore.
