One of the reasons we like listening to entrepreneur podcasts is because they are real. No one is pretending to be a business owner. And that means that they are not just talking about what they want to do in life, but what it feels like to work in that business. Entrepreneur podcasts take you on a journey through the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, as a person who has worked in the field before. They also take you through the various struggles that entrepreneurs face.
Podcasts also offer a window to the lives and souls of entrepreneurs, and I think this is one of the best ways to hear them. Entrepreneurs are not all geniuses, they are people who have learned to put in the work necessary to be successful. Podcasts give a window to the different ways that entrepreneurs have transformed their lives, and the struggles that they have faced throughout.
I am a big believer in the idea that you don’t need to be an expert in your chosen field. However, I think that you can bring a certain amount of knowledge to your podcast and be as honest as you can be with your listeners. Sometimes it is necessary to include a bit more information because it shows that you are listening and are interested in the life and thought process of the people you are talking to.
This is one of the reasons why I keep my podcast schedule, because I have a tendency to discuss things that I don’t know much about and that might be able to offer some insight to the people who are listening.
