In my time in the field, I have seen the dark side of being a manager where we have responsibility for food safety and food safety practices. I have experienced this first hand and I wanted to share what I had learned with you.

I know this is probably not the best time to share this information.

But I wanted to let you know how you can help. I understand that you are trying to help your staff. I am sure you are doing it because it is the right thing to do. Because I have seen this happen and it is heartbreaking.

I’ve seen this happen when I have worked in food, and I have seen people die. It has happened to me too, and I want you to know that you are not alone. At my last job, for instance, we had a case where a colleague was diagnosed with a kidney disease that was due to the food she ate. The illness became so bad that she ended up dying.

The fact that this occurs even in the most sanitary environments is disturbing. At my last job, we had an incident where a worker was hospitalized because of food poisoning that went down to her bones. Her coworkers then took their own lives because they felt they had to do something. I wish I could say that I am confident that every workplace is 100% safe, but I sure don’t feel that way.

The dark side of a manager is food safety and responsibility.

This is a topic that comes up often in my job where we have to deal with the very worst that human beings can do to one another. The fact that this is even a thing that I have to deal with is disturbing. I just want to tell you, like every other employee I ever worked for, that I am extremely proud of my coworkers for standing up for each other.

I’m not here to tell you that you’re great at your job. I’m just here to tell you that you should take the time to learn more, ask questions, and do your best to make sure that you’re not putting yourself at risk.

This is exactly why I wrote my book, Beyond the Best-Kept Secrets. I will not rest until I have done my best to stop the worst abuses of our food supply. This is a topic that needs to be discussed. Because it is also a topic that can affect you and your family. If you have children, they need to know that you care, that you care about them, that you will do whatever you can to protect them.
