Deep into the quote

Salvation is the most expensive contract to sign. Thanos refers to the quote as he is talking to his daughter Gamora. The quote was made in the movie Avengers Infinity War which released on April 27, 2018.

He wanted to bring balance to the universe by destroying half of the population. Thanos had a plan to go after all six infinity stones in order to destroy half of universe’s population which was “a small price for salvation” according to him.

To be able to get his hands on these infinity gems, he started by attacking Xandar with an army of Chitauri. Planet after planet, massacre after massacre he kept wiping population. He thought this was the only way to bring peace to the universe.

Thanos explains that universe has only enough resources, which was less to support the whole of it, and that for humanity to survive he needs to wipe out half.

But his plan was stopped for a while by a group of superheroes who were trying to stop him from destroying life on Earth and everywhere else in the galaxy. The Avengers, led by Captain America went after Thanos with their intellectual powers but couldn’t get passed through him. The movie later ends with his intention. Using all the six stones, Thanos snapped his fingers and wiped away half of the Earthlings in one second.

The last few scenes show a montage of what happened after when Thanos snapped his fingers. We see how Tony Stark, who is now Iron Man lost all hope for life on earth. Many of the avengers were turned to dust including Barton, Fury and others.

The MCU again showed an excellent theatre performance and every fan of the Avengers and Marvel was left in desperation of losing their loved ones.

But, the movie was not happy ending as it ended with a cliff-hanger and no one knew what will happen to them in future after Thanos snapped his fingers and half of the Earthlings disappeared into nothingness.
